Sunday Share – Project: Aesop’s Fables

I love being able to promote friend’s projects and this week I get to introduce an interesting one from my friend Tony called Project: Aesop’s Fables. Tony has armed himself with an iPad that he is using to reimagine these tales in the form of images and storyboards. He takes an unique perspective on these tales and gives it his reworking via digital art.  Just a couple of the illustrations are shown below, click on the picture to link that individual post.

I think this project is going to be an interesting one and I’m looking forward to seeing more of these as the project progresses.  So go, check it out, give a little love to one the most creative people I have the pleasure of knowing!

Creative Souls – Introducing Tony

One of my goals with this blog is to introduce other creative people that I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in my travels. So without further ado…

Tony (aka Sweet T) is a long-time friend and artist. Working primarily in paints, he creates thought-provoking, primitive images. While his full-time job keeps him away from his easel for long stretches, he’s been kind enough to share two of his most recent works here.

Name: Tony (aka Sweet T)
Age: early 30’s
Occupation: Full-time corporate slave in the educational testing field
Artistic mediums: paint, chalk, pastels
Favorite subjects: angels, winged things
Inspirations: the unknown (and possibly a nightmare or two)
Favorite quote: “I’m just buildingcharacter.”
